Abstract Artist
Welcome to My Digital Self
Last of the Eternal Optimists
Welcome to my Website,
Well,
where to begin, unlike most people that put together a
web site that is geared towards self-promotion, I don’t really know
how to start this.
I am a very self-assured and boisterous person, in public, but in this virtual one on one, I am a bit shy to relinquish all I have to say about myself.
I am, artistically inclined, ok well dare I say, I am an artist and I write poetry, prose and I am working on a Sci-Fi Novel, But I don’t wish give the impression that I think I am all that and a bag of chips, to coin a phrase, I am not one to be too boastful (and about now all of my friends are saying “Reaaaallly”, as if I am making it all up).
I
plan on making this site insightful and fun, I am going to, and
rather shamelessly promote my own works, My Art and Writing, But I
am also going to show you my wife’s artwork, the work of my friends
whom are great artists, writers and musicians in their own venues,
and list some great art resources and locations to see and learn
more about art.
ArtQuiver began out of our own personal frustration in finding good original art. Without much middle ground between the opaque, and often elitist, physical gallery and the unregulated, mega sites online, we were left without many options. Other than the occasional piece from an exotic trip abroad, our walls were home to unoriginal, mass produced pieces and a few hand-me-down works from our families.
We wanted to fix the consumer side of the problem. As we launched ArtQuiver, we found that it solved the artist side as well. Long constrained by the status quo of the physical gallery model, artists were producing world class work, without finding a reliable venue to bring it to the public. The market seemed ripe for innovation, if not revolution.
Today, ArtQuiver uses technology and the web to successfully bridge the consumer-artist gap, helping buyers make their own unique artistic statement, while giving artists the worldwide reach they deserve. Viva la revolution

Support the Arts
I do have " A Day Job " but I could use all the help I can get.
I often tell people who are interested in supporting the arts to find a local charity or a national charity of interest, or familiar names like PBS, NPR or Children's Arts Society. I would also say that if you want to support an individual artist, do so, and with that being said, if you would like to support my artistic endeavors, you can select the link below.
